- Enso dojo - Enso is an ancient international symbol of inner strength, harmony, community and peace. Enso comes from the Japanese language and literally means an “open” circle. Dojo is another Japanese word that means school. A literal translation of Enso Dojo would be the Open Circle School. Although our name is from the Japanese language, and inspired by the principles of Aikido, a Japanese martial art, we are an international community arts school. Enso Dojo is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, nondenominational, grassroots community educational organization dedicated to building strong, sustainable communities by teaching peacekeeping skills through the study of martial arts, nature, languages, technology, communication, literacy and international arts.

- Round-Earth Publishing - Round Earth Publishing was founded in 1996. We publish two best-selling Aikido books, Ki in Aikido and Aikido Exercises for Teaching and Training. We stock other teaching and training materials for Aikido and Martial Arts, and will be expanding to cover Medical and Health Issues. We also provide patterns/kits for a variety of projects. Our hakama pattern for Aikido and other martial arts is easy to make and sturdily constructed for long wear on the mat. Our videos range from Kurosawa’s classic samurai films (such as “Hidden Fortress,” the inspiration for “Star Wars”), to Bruce Bookman’s instructional videos on ukemi, the art of falling safely.
